This receiver looks great in a beautiful wood cabinet. The Model 26 was just before the 22xx series. They were from the beginning of the 70's while the 22xx's came in the mid 70's through the end of the decade. The 26 is a super sweet musical that has limited inputs and only one set of speaker outputs, but it will surprise you with a clean sound. It seems to have more power than it should and could drive small Advents just fine. Depending on preference I a lot of audiophiles like the look of 22xx series better but this receiver is not a bad looking unit when the wood case is in excellent condition like this one.
