The Metacarbon (metallized carbon) is our latest attempt to offer cables to come as close as possible to the Indra sonics, but at a more affordable price. Our own listening shows that the Metacarbon are indeed a perfectly valid contender for a reference cable, but only after collecting at least 20 to 30 opinions from beta testers will we know how close to the Indra these new Metacarbon cables actually are.
Our metallization process specifically aims at the best treble extension possible, while keeping the purity, neutrality and other benefits of the pure carbon cables. The proprietary STEALTH connectors used with these cables are similar to the Indra connectors (pure silver hollow thin wall pins for both RCA and XLR proprietary connectors, but the Carbon/Titanium RCA outer shells on the Metacarbon cables feature three stripes color coding for a distinctive look.
