This Era Gold V MM Phono Stage is a great performer at an affordable price. In my opinion the performance of this unit is equal to phono stages costing several multiples its price point. It has a nice sound stage and conveys the depth of emotion in the music.
Designed for moving magnet, moving iron and high output moving coil cartridges, the Era Gold V MM phono stage is an ultra linear design according to Graham Slee. This unit is conservatively rated 7 on USAM scale and is in very good condition, nearly an 8; having been lightly used in kid free, pet free, air filtered environment on my secondary rig. This unit is small, unobstrusive, and uses an auxillary power supply which is easily hidden.
