You're looking at a class d stereo amp based around the excellent circuitry from classdaudio.com. It's the Super D model, 125 watts/channel into 8 ohms. It has the upgraded power supply (more capacitance) and the heavy (almost 10 pound) torroid.

This amp is powerful, quiet (self noise), and super detailed. It sounds very much like a good tube amp in the mids and highs, but with tighter, better bass like a good solid state amp.

Incidentally, I should tell you this amp just sips electricity. It hardly uses any power and runs cool. Additionally, the Super D features right and left channel gain controls (small knobs) so you can easily match just about any preamp (active or passive). They are located on the bottom, which I left open for easy access.

I built this amp. I wanted a clean, clean almost Scandinavian look. It's white with a flat black top. I wanted something a little different looking. On the back you'll find nice quality RCA jacks for your preamp, and high quality binding posts, and an IEC type socket for the AC power cord.

Being a cabinetmaker, my thrill is building the enclosures. I have an idea for another I'd like to implement. So, rather than tear this all apart I thought I'd just offer it up and build myself another Super D in a different look.

I think you'll be very pleased with this amp. It's one of those just "use it and forget it" type amps: no fuss, no maintenance, no tubes to take care of or worry about, and your wife will thank you when the electric bill comes in. I often forget I'm not listening to one of my tube amps when I am listening to this one.
