This Ypsilon was well cared for. The owner traded up to another Collectors piece. It is the 5th Ypsilon (serial no. 005) that was built by Volkmar Druebbisch entirely. This is the very first time that an original Ypsilon within the serial no 002 through 010 has been made available in 15 years! For more information, see our website, click on FAQ and scroll down to the explanation of serial no and special pricing (question 20).
This unit even has the protective film on one side of the high-performance acrylic shelves, which means that one side is pretty much new. The other side of the shelf is in very nice condition, the electronic equipment was placed on it and never moved. The unit comes with four piano black shelves. The shelves measure 19" in width, 18" in depth, and are 0.5 inch thick. The shelves are secured with the rear rod sliding into a notch. They cant be pushed off the unit, making them safe when children are a concern. The mainframe is powder coated black, can be filled with lead-shot for better resonance control and measures:H= 47.125", Width 31", Depth 31.
This set-up is the most desired one, top of the line, an all black unit, frame, support-bars and shelves. The only silver parts are stainless steel hardware and stainless steel suspension.
All shelves are infinitely adjustable. You can take shelves out or add shelves to your changing needs. See the other image. Ypsilon is a tripod and can be placed in a corner. Ypsilon it used as the reference isolation stand by manufacturers for electronic equipment. It was the first suspension platform offered to public by pARTicular.
Ypsilons incorporation in the Permanent Design Collection of the Museum Of Design and Architecture, The Chicago Athenaeum, has made Ypsilon a collectors item!
Ypsilon will make statement in your room , you can't overlook it. It is one of the best selling isolation platforms that are available from pARTicular, it is part of the Reference Series, like Triangle, Montego Blue and Inferno. For more information on the reference series you can visit our website.
You can purchase extra shelves, the Ypsilon can hold five shelves and if you are concerned about the available spacing, we offer to exchange the rods with longer ones at no extra charge.
This unit comes with the desired wire management upgrade. You can see that wire management = double channel for separating powerplugs and interconnects (to prevent electromagentic interference) in the image o NOVUS.
