Product Description from audioreview.com The G-7700 (120 watts/channel) is a phenominal audio product. Tuner is excellent but its the amp section that blows EVERYTHING away. I have bought and sold a lot of audio equipment (tube and SS), but this unit "spanks them all". I have owned 9090's, G-6000, G-6700, and G-9700. Sonically the G-7700 is KING. Lets look at some of the other receivers that I am compairing it to: Kenwood KR-8010, Pioneer SX-950, Marantz 2285b, and the G-9700(200w/ch.). Sansui across the board will sound better; but the G-7700, if it is set to factory specs., will dust anything in its catagory.
