Excerpts from Transports Brochure
"If the essence of music is art, then the essence of music reproduction is technique. And the quintessence of that technique is Wadia"
The Case for Bandwidth: Digital transmission requires 300MHz bandwidth. Fact The uninformed, having misread the 56 megabits/second information capacity of Glass Fiber Optics as 56 MHz bandwidth, cite AES/EBU, at 330MHz, as the only satisfactory carrier of digital audio signals. Coax/BNC only reaches 40MHz; plastic fiber optics, a mere 4MHz. Of course we incorporate outputs for each of them, for the sake of system compatibility. But the obvious choice at Wadia's level of sonic excellence is Glass Fiber, for its 10,000MHz bandwidth and the 500MHz bandwidth of the optical drive and the receive electronics specified in the Wadia Transmission System are well above maximum requirements .
