Description

This is a special unit. The original owner sent it to The Upgrade Company to have it modified. I had a stock SA-11s2 at the time and I took a flyer on this one. The improvement over the stock unit was not subtle. The bass was deeper and the sound overall fuller. A bigger upgrade than going from the SA-11s1 to the s2. I am told by the original owner that it would equal or better the SA-7, but I have never heard the 7 so I can't compare.

It is a beautiful champagne finish and in very good shape. It has never had any performane issues. I have owned the SA-1, SA-11s1, SA-11s2 stock and this is easily the best. Only selling because I moved from all Marantz/C-J champagne gold finished system to an Audio Research/Wells Audio black system. Looking to better match system looks, but want to stay in the family.

I would trade this player plus $$ for a black Marantz SA-11s3 only.
