Vintage RCA VICTOR Tape Cartride Recorder/Player.

Model SPC-2. DUAL AMPLIFIER, STEREO-ORTHOPHONIC HIGH FIDELITY. The tape is housed in a large cartridge that looks like a giant cassette tape. This was early 1958 or 1959 and cost around $300. It records and plays at 3 3/4 IPS. It has a built-in tube amp for stereo playing and recording. It has one speaker system built-in .Stereo recording/playback time is about 1 hour. For the collector who wants everything, this is a must. Case is cosmetically in excellent condition with no signs of wear.It is a 7-tube: 12AX7,12AX7, 12AX7, 6V6GT, 6V6GT, 6CG7, 5Y3GT, and they all checked in the good range. It all works. The recorder has not been tested . All jacks are 1/4 inch. Weighs 42 pounds (unpacked) and is about 12 x 18 x 17 inches.
I also have a box of giant cassette tapes between 50-100 in box some use others are not.
