I am selling the following CDs. I am not a dealer, these are all from my personal collection. Price for any 5 is $40 shipped. If you want just a couple, please contact me and we can work out a price.

Classical, etc.

Bruce Springsteen, Greetings from Asbury Park—disc almost pristine (This is a Japanese first pressing from the 1980s, serial number 32DP 353.) $20

Bruce Springsteen, Born to Run—disc is excellent, a few microscopic hairlines (This is a Japanese first pressing from the 1980s, serial number 32DP 358.) $20

Mendelssohn, Elijah (Richard Hickox with London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus)—discs very good (made in Germany) (former library copy, but very good condition; it was purchased from the local town library by me and I suspect that no one had ever checked it out.) $10

Rachmaninov, All-night vigil (Paul Hillier, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir)—Harmonia Mundi, made in Germany (If you really want to know where you're at, and want to get to the heart of things, listen to this piece very late at night. The reason that I'm selling is that I have another version that I like a little better, and I don’t really need both.) --$30

Hilary Hahn, Schoenberg, Sibelius—disc is perfect except for a few slight hairlines around the outer rim. Excellent sound quality. (This is the Japanese import from 2008, item code UCCG-1391) $20

Mostly ‘90s rock (These all have no cases. Just the disc and front cover inserts. They’ve been in my Case Logic cases. They all play fine, and some look great, but others have some scratches and scuffs. Let’s say these are $1 each.)

Equipment for sale

Power tubes 6L6GC—Svetlana SED Winged “C” tubes, matched quad. I purchased them new from Upscale. These were used sparingly in a headphone amplifier for about a year. I recently tested them on a Seiko Instruments tester, and they test like new. These are out of production and difficult to find. $300, and I will throw in a fifth tube that seems to have some noise in it. Original boxes.

Input tubes 12AX7—Tungsram, matched pair. I purchased them from Upscale. They are of the “platinum” variety. I used them for about a year, sparingly, in a low-wattage headphone amp. They test like new; the needle on the Seiko is far into the black zone. Absolutely wonderful sounding tubes. $200, original boxes.

Opera Callas monitor speakers, 2003 version—mint condition, real mahogany cabinets, a pair of the best speakers ever made. I purchased them new from an authorized dealer (Upscale) about eight years ago, and they’ve been boxed in my closet for the past five years. $3000, negotiable, but I prefer local pickup.
