Custom Dyanco amp based on the ST70 transformers and chassis.
I rebuilt this amp several years ago. The chassis and transformer caps were professionally powder coated. Full rebuild with new power transformer, tube sockets, Cardas binding posts. Original cloth lead output transformers. Aluminum faceplate with input jacks.
Input board is from K&K audio with upgraded Mundorf caps. I can include the original 7199 driver board. Also available is one from Triode Electronics.
Original chassis cover included in factory brown finish.
Only tubes for input board will be supplied. No power tubes included. There is a bias adjustment on the input board and I have used both EL34 and KT88.
Amp has not been in a system for some time. I recently powered it up again to check bias and run some signal through each channel. The overall look is clean but it still shows some fit and finish issues.
An excellent amp and great platform for more DIY work. Please let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to share some more details.
