Selling a classic Audio Research SP-9 preamplifier, which is the first preamp I ever bought. It still works perfectly -- I hooked it up for listening prior to listing this ad. I believe it is a Mark I, but I am not sure.
The condition is great, especially considering it is at least 20 years old. I don't see any notable blemishes, but please have a close look at the pictures. Also please note that this preamp only takes RCA interconnects -- you can't use XLR cables with it.
I do not have the original box, but the original manual is included. The preamp uses two 6922 tubes., There are tubes in there which work fine for now, but I can't be sure what the remaining life for those tubes is.
Buyer pays actual shipping -- I would guess around $30 to the lower 48 states. No international shipping please. Local pickup OK if you live in or near Manhattan, New York.
Thank you for looking
