Hi, and thank you for looking at my ad.
I recently purchased these speakers nearly new from another member here and I really like them. But my situation recently changed and I need to clear out a few things in my system, and I'm going to stick with my two-way system. These beauties are almost brand new, they work flawlessly and sound great, and about half the price.
Also, these are not the older Decware FRX speakers; they are the current model FRX2 versions, which includes a small switch on the back of the speaker that allows you to adjust the response and the sound of each driver. A very cool feature and the most advanced that they have.
Here is the overview of these drivers from the owner/manager of Decware:
The FRX2 represents an obsessive effort on my part to perfect the full-range point-source driver for Open Baffle speakers at a sane cost. While the build quality of this driver will compete with with other brands costing many times the price, I don't believe any of them will hold up sonically because of the side effects of high flux low mass designs. Side effects like the occasional shouty mid-range and forward presentation or ringing that comes with the tipped up response that is characteristic of these types of drivers. The FRX2 overcomes these side effects with a unique motor assembly that uses electromotive coupling between the amplifier and the voice coil. To my knowledge there is no other single driver in the world with this technology.
I personally hand build these drivers in small batches of 10 pairs at a time.

There is a lot more information on the Decware website.
I bought these from a member here recently, and he bought them new two years ago, and they are in excellent condition. I rate them a 9 because the screw holes have a bit of paint missing from the screws, and you won't notice that when they are screwed in. They can be used in an open baffle speaker, or in a cabinet as I did.
I put them in a cabinet of my own design and they sounded most excellent, and with plenty of bass so that it even surprised my girlfriend. But we may be moving and I just have too much stuff.
I don't have any pictures I took myself because the speakers are still in my cabinets. But I used the same pictures from the ad that I purchased them from.
Buyer pays shipping, I pay PayPal. NO TRADES snd please no lowballing; I'm already selling these for less than what I paid.
Thanks for looking, and I know you will love the speakers !
