I am selling a Micro Seiki BL-91 turntable without the tone arm (recently parted out...after pictures were taken). I got it quite a few years ago, but it's still in great shape and I recently had it reconditioned at Mill City Sound in Hopkins, MN by Mark, their turntable technician (July 2016). Also included are some turntable accessories--turntable levels, hex wrench, and 45 rpm adapter.
The plinth is in nice shape, but I have included pictures of some of the imperfections in the finish where it is bubbled up (on the left side) and a scuff (on the right side of the plinth). One of the back hinges for the dustcover is missing it's own plastic cover (also included in the pictures), but once it is sourced, it's a part that simply snaps on.
The last few photos are simply for identification of the turntable.
This turntable is often listed for much higher prices online, but actually *sells* in the $900 to $1000 range without the tone arm. So, I am asking for $800 for the turntable considering the bubbling that is present in the finish on the far left-hand side of the plinth. That way, the buyer has a $100 - $200 cushion to get the refinishing work done.
I am not desperate to sell the turntable, so I am willing to wait for the right buyer...and as a result, I will consider reasonable offers, but no lowball offers. Let me know if you'd like to see other detailed photos.
Cash only and local pickup--not comfortable with shipping this piece.
