Audio Visions Repair or Southern Electronics in Richmond will probably be your best bet unless there's a repair shop in Hopewell.

Most repair shops will charge you an upfront check-out fee ranging from $20.00 to $35.00. If they are able to diagnose the repair and you're willing to pay for it, the check-out fee will go towards the total cost of the repair. If you decline to have it fixed, they keep the check-out fee to cover the time it took them to diagnose the problem. I worked at an A/V service center for several years and generally it takes longer to figure out what's wrong than it does to actually fix the problem.

Btw, what is the issue with the SD9200?

There was a known vibration issue with this particular player in the transport that they sold a kit to repair it.They no longer sell the kit which supposedly used small rubber pieces to help stable it.

Wasn't sure if you've seen these other forums or not but I did see your forum post on A'gon.

Have you tried searching for the kit on ebay? You might get lucky. Or maybe you could do an internet search for Toshiba-approved A/V service centers on the east coast and see if they might still have one of those kits in stock.

If you find any kits could you please post where to buy them? I have a 9200 that's in very good condition and would hate to have my drive get loud too.
