I found a whole box of mostly still sealed lps. Someone must have passed on, and their wife must have donated them to a second hand store. The owner told me she has many more boxes, but she didn't' know if records would sell because her ds were slow, and didn't' want to take up store space. I made her an offer on the whole box and she seemed delighted. I have it upstairs. Here are some of the titles I can remember.

Some of the sealed ones:
King Of The Delta Blues Singers-Robert Johnson
River Deep Mountain High-Ike & Tina Turner
The Many Moods Of Tony Bennett
Mysterious Traveler-Weather Report
Soul Searching-Average White Band
Jaco Pastorius
Pretzel Logic-Steely Dan
Finger Paintings- Earl Klugh (Original Master)
Song For My Father- Horace Silver
Katy Lied-Steely Dan
The Missouri Breaks Soundtrack
Booker T & The MG's
Full Moon featuring Larsen & Feiten
The Band- self titled
Cheap Thrills- Janis Joplin
And some of the used ones I can remember:

Papa John Creach
Mose Allison
Nipsey Russell (comedy)
The Bridge- David Sancious
Forest Of Feelings- " "
Odds & Sods- The Who
Industry Standard- The Dixie Dregs
A Love Supreme-John Coltrane
Heavy Weather- Weather Report(1/2 sp.
What's Going On-Marvin Gaye
Average White Band Live (double)
Rio-Lee Rittenour
Gato Barbieri
Power Of The Orchestra-Leibowitz
The Nutcracker-Previn
B.B. King live at Cook County Jail
The Best Of Hank Williams (double)

I don't know what I will do with these.
.Its quite a cross section of music.I
only listen to certain styles. She has
many more boxes that she will let
me see before displaying them.She
says she has lots of old jazz & sym
phonic also, but in mixed cond. The
ones I picked up looked very
clean. Can't wait.

Thanks, this is a place where there are a lot of old people who pass on and a lot of people with sub par paying jobs because a lot of the factories have closed, so its good to look for bargains in the resale type stores. I've been to many areas and for some reason the best place to find interesting things in resale shops has been the grouping of medium size cities near the D.C.area like Arlington, Alexandria, Behesda, Silver Spring, Frederick etc. I haven't been there in decades but there used to be Salvation Army store in one of those places that would always have about 15,000 records for 75 cents each.
The Stones were a great band. I didn't realize it, but there is a half speed master edition of Exile. I think its British. Joe Henderson played some with a lot of jazz artists I like; Freddie Hubbard, Grant Green, Lee Morgan. I recently found some Roland Kirk, and Arthur Blythe lps and some Rastus lps. Very cooking stuff.

There is a good video on YouTube that I discovered this morning if you like Jazz Fusion Music. The guy is pretty knowledgeable and gives lots of recommendations and seems to have very good taste in music. I wrote down a lot of his recommendations and I did my usual routine of punching in the titles and seeing if I could hear some excerpts on YouTube, before I buy; and buy I did. I Don't remember the last time I bought so many CD's on ebay in one day. Its worth watching his video. Its about 40 some minutes long and he recommends and briefly talks about that many selections, many of which I know are good, and will soon be finding out how much I like many others when they get here. To see his video punch in Best Jazz-Fusion Of The 1970's Youtube. Here are some of my recent finds from that genre that I really like & recommend, that I think many of you would enjoy.

Best Of Tom Scott
Spaces-Larry Corryell
American Garage-Pat Metheny (The Epic, Wow!)
Winter Light-Oregon
The Art Of Tea-Michael Franks
Secret Agent-Chick Corea
Matrix- Matrix
Best Of Mark Almond
Ocean Liner-Passport
Cosmic Messenger-Jean Luc Pointy
Travellin' Light-Tim Weisberg
Best Of Hubert Laws

If you do as I do, you can use YouTube to preview a lot of these. Just punch in the title and YouTube after it.
