The new Mobile Fidelity two 45rpm box set of Santana Abraxus. Haven't heard it yet, but beautiful packaging.

Great choice! That collection should sound excellent on vinyl.

Love these songs. Those two really made some beautiful music together. So disappointing that they broke up.

I completely agree! The couple of albums they did were indeed very, very good. So sad that they couldn't work out their differences. Could maybe have been one of the top duos in history...

Haven't gotten mine yet. It's been shipped, but not quite here. I've seen the packaging and actually listened to it a couple of times at shows. Should be a KILLER copy...

Cd is like a bad date. ha ha It has its moments, though! Not to dis the digital folk.

I recommend one: Clifford Jordan Quartet "Live At Ethell's" on Mapleshade.

Just starting out on this collection, have a few more to add (two more SACD's. Yes, they are Pink Floyd SACD's...
One of the greatest collections of songs(albums) of all time, IMHO.

Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon Capital LP SMAS 11163
Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon EMI SACD 30th Anniversary
Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon Capital SACD 30th Anniversary

I think I see a pattern here...

Rolling Stones 2 LP set Sticky Fingers.
Jimi Hendrix Band Of Gypsy complete Fillmore East 2 LP.
Many years ago during the active Pat Metheny era when ECM records were pressed both by Polydor and Warner Bros., my friend warned me about the Polydor mud resolution.
Right out the sleeve, particles and crackles were embedded into the grooves and the vinyl attracted dust and static like flies on S***!!!
Very disappointed. Avoid the Czech Republic current pressings.
The 180 degree turn award goes to Jimi Hendrix Estate for their flawless immaculate state of the art pressing of Band Of Gypsy complete Fillmore East 2 LP
I pulled the vinyl out of the sleeve and...............PRESTO. Not even a click or pop of static buildup, 100% dust and particle free, not to mention a superb live recording, mixed far better than the Stones studio efforts. :D

A 2-CD 30-song British import featuring none of the songs that made her famous. It might be a real find....or it might be worth the dollar that I paid for it today.
