Hi Steven.

Yes I am! I do have some parts available and should be able to assist with your bearing. What is the issue with the motor?

Hi, great to find your post. I have the original Oracle AC and am looking for two items: 1.) a blank armboard (the 1/4" thick version) or one drilled for a Rega 300 and; 2.) the associated mounting hardware (bolts, washers, etc.). I look forward to hearing from you. Take care and have a great holiday season.

Grant

Hi Grant

So glad you're pleased with the custom aircraft-grade aluminum armboard I made for you.

Feel free to reach out if I can assist with any other advice, parts, or service.

Happy listening!

My newest restoration project:

Oracle Delphi, 2 speed turntable, Grace G747 tonearm, Signet TK5E cartridge

Fully rebuilt from the ground up and fully restored.

- Polished all metal brightwork
- Rubber platter damper resurfaced
- Cleaned platter and installed new belt
- Cleaned, aligned, calibrated and checked tonearm
- Polished plinth to remove scratches
- Repaired and polished dustcover (see pix, a bronze-anodized aluminum plate has been glued and reinforced with bolts to address a fracture - virtually invisible from the front, top or sides
- Cleaned and lubricated bearing
- Cleaned and checked motor
- Installed and calibrated excellent Signet MM cartridge

Upgrades are available:
- Upgraded cartridge - many options available
- Upgraded tonearm cable
- Upgraded armboard to aluminum, (pix available on request)

I have about 10 hours of labor in this beautiful 'table(; a tired old girl has been restored to it lustrous and sexy old self and now it needs a good home to be well cared for. It's sound will rival turntables costing thousands more.

I will be posting a for sale ad on this soon.

:) Hi! I own an Oracle Delphi Mark V Anniversary Turn-Table. I have a Benz Micro Cartridge mounted on a Graham Engineering Gold Tone Arm.
I think it needs to tune up (in general). My belt keeps slipping off, & my 45 R.P.M. needs adjusted. Not sure if my 33 +1/3 is at 33-1/3 ?? L.O.L.
& my tonearm lift needs an up-grade. or maybe adjusted...

Where can this be sent for this General up-grade?

Best regards, Mike L

Hi! [size=150]Hyendaudio,

I own An Oracle Delphi Mark V Anniversary Edition Turntable.

It's laid out in all Gold trim. Connected to this turntable is a Graham Engineering 1.5 Tone Arm. Trimmed in Gold & this has a Benz ~Micro Elyes Cartridge.
& all this sits on a Black African Granite Base, that's very heavy. Whew !!!

What I need is (an In General Tune-up). Nothing has ever been done to this Rig, since It came out years ago ? Hmm!!! Never needed a thing !!!

The suspension seems good. The A/C Motor is good. The oil levels are good in the spindle, & it still purse like a cat. L.O.L.

But!! what is happening is the Belt is falling off, frequently...
The 45 R.P.M. is not working great !!!
The 33-1/3 may need to be reset/ tweeked !!!
The Tone Arm lift is not lifting well !!!
& the tone arm may need adjusted some ?

(Questions):
Can You help me out with this mild dilemma ?
Do I have to box it up ?
Do You make house Calls ? L.O.L.
Is there a service fee ? L.O.L.
Where are you located ?
Etc... Etc...

Please! let Me Know ?

Best Regards,

Mike L.

Finding rare and special Oracle turntables in need of TLC, fixing them up and making them available to others is my hobby; you might call it my passion. I am an Oracle authorized reseller and can source any Oracle parts or components as well.

Do you need a new motor for that Delphi Mk II or Mk III or a replacement power supply, or a belt or suspension part or arm-board? How about a replacement motor for your Oracle Delphi A/C? Yep, I got those too!

I also have Oracle Maintenance Kits in stock, both with and without springs.

I also repair/rebuild/rewire tonearms (got an SME, Well Tempered, Rega, Origin Live or Thorens that needs help?), refurbish/repair Thorens & Garrard turntables (got a TD125 or TD124 in need of some help? I can rebuild your Garrard 301 and your TD124 too.), and lots of other brands.

I also make cables to order, using premium wire and connectors, have a stash of other kinds of turntables and tonearms (watch my posts, I put them up for sale once they've been restored), and tons more cool stuff.

Inquiries are welcome.

I've been a turntable technician since 1975, though the formerly full time job is now a hobby / sideline. Whereas services and parts are [generally] for a nominal [and what I consider to be reasonable] fee, advice is free. Just let me know how I can help!

Hi,

I have a Delphi Mk III. The suspension has been updated but the motor is starting to have difficulty starting to turn the records. How much would it cost me to replace it?

Thx

Pierre

Hi Pierre

Does the platter spin freely? Have you replaced the belt and cleaned all surfaces (inner platter surface and motor pulley)? Is the belt fitting snugly - but not too tight?
If the answers to above are "yes", I would need to diagnose it to determine whether the problem is with the motor - and whether the motor is repairable, or with the electronics.

Feel free to contact me by email at hyendaudio@gmail.com to follow up.

Thanks

Dear Sir,

My Oracle Delphi 2 main bearing axe is very worn at the bearing end.
I really need a new bearing and I think the bearing sleeves also would be best to have as a set,
Oracle cannot help and the main problem is releasing the bearing from the platter.

Do you have any suggestions to get to a cheap fix as I think replacing the whole platter is rediculous.

Greetings and hope to hear from you.

Hi Mario

I'm having difficulty understanding exactly what the problem is. Can you send me some photos of what you're describing please?

Feel free to email me directly at Hyendaudio@gmail.com if you prefer.

Kind regards

Hello Zawwin

Seems I'm unable to reply to your PM, so I'll answer you here, while I'm working with the Forum administrators to resolve the issue.

Yes, I do have armboards for Delphi and Alexandria models and can supply both pre-cut (like SME) and blank armboards for most any tonearm.

I do have an aluminum SME armboard for the Alexandria on-hand, as well as aluminum Graham armboards and blank acrylic armboards for the Delphi.

Please email me directly at hyendaudio@gmail.com for details.

Kind regards
