Found at Ikea, a stool "Marius" about 7-8 dollars each. Will hold #200. Check it out! Just passing on a great deal. I have
3 sets for infinity's, Wharfedale 60"s, and Speaker Lab 6's.

IKEA also has a stool for $14.95 called the Frosta. There is also one with adjustable height for the seat called the Dalfred for $39.95 currently. Generally the heavier the stand, the better. Stands can make so much difference that if your speakers, which you know so well, were all of a sudden playing and situated on a world class stand, you might not recognize its sound blindfolded. IKEA also delivers.Lets see how good my Swedish is.Smaken an some baken.Versagod.

I’m using Ikea Ingolf stools (about 18 inch height) under Harbeth Compact 7s with no complaints whatsoever. Alan Shaw at Harbeth asserts that any sturdy stand for his firm’s speakers will admirably serve their purpose. Besides the $39.95 per stool price, the dimensions of the Ingolf stool are a great match for the C7s. If I ever decided to spend $600 on “real” speaker stands, I might hear a difference. As it is, I’m as happy with the Ingolfs as I am with the Furutech U-2T bulk speaker cable that I’m using, all for less than the cost of a paif of many available speaker stands.

While these are a little more money, (but not much):

They are fabulous. They're pretty much the same thing as the really expensive Target stands and IMHO, just as good sounding. You can also fill the posts with sand or lead shot or cat litter or whatever you're into for even more dampening.

I have a 24" and a 28" set and simply love them.

EXCELLENT value!

Those stands look to be an awesome bargain, for that price why bother with stools or night stands
