Any further information on the nature of his scams?

These are typical fake money order/bank draft scams. They contact you, offer to buy your item and will try to pay by money order/bank draft. Often, these guys overpay by a lot and then will ask you to send the difference back to them. If you do (and you happen to ship them any goods), you will be out of pocket.

Refreshing to see you guys are proactive about this stuff. Another site (the most popular one) won't even respond to emails about fraud.

The Canuck Audio Mart community grew to be very protective of its site and almost self-policing. My involvement as a mod was the direct result of my reporting a lot of spam or suspected scam ads. We hope USAM will do the same. We encourage anyone who see's something fishy to at least report the ad so we can do some investigating. We have a lot of good tools at our disposal and we won't hesitate to block ads or e-mails if we think people are potentially getting defrauded.

another part of it is that they will send "a messanger to pick it up" and give you a bad bank check.
Mostly some foreign named bank or fake US etc bank.
myself and some others got one of these guys to show up. we had the local police on hand to take
care of the matter...
