This was my ultimate usb setup until I recently upgraded my Audio GD Master 7 usb dac to a Audio Note Spdif dac. I love NOS dacs what can I say? I spent countless hours trying many very highly regarded alternatives. For instance I was able to compare the UltraRendu to my upgraded microRendu and did not hear a noticeable difference. I also tried the Sotm sms-200 and although very good did not think it better then my MicroRendu. All of the Uptone pieces came with the ability to audition and I kept both. They made a surprising and noticeable upgrade in sound. As far as the Phasure Lush cable I tried my friend's Curious cable and I owned a Mapleshade ush which I liked very much but prefered the Lush to all other usb cables. There is a reason they call it the Lush cable. I will sell separate but prefer to sell as a amazing package. This id definitely a whole is greater than the parts situation. I saw somewhere that someone was selling a MicroRendu 1.4 and stated that it was a original not upgraded. I live in Miami where the company is and hand delivered my unit to upgrade. At the time I was told that the complete board is swapped out and the same outer case is used. So I don't know if there is a original 1.4 or why that might be better. Here is a list of individual costs: Also the MicroRendu has the latest 2.5 software.
MicroRendu 1.4: $500 Iso Regen $300 Uptone Audio UltraCaps LPS-1 $300 Phasure Lush $200 1 Meter USPCB A>B Adapter $30
