Huge sound from a small(ish) speaker. I have had a pair of 2.2 and 3.5 and these sound much more detailed and fast with a surprisingly smooth high end. These are non-ported so the bass is tight and they go low but they do not shake the paint off the walls (perfect for an apartment). They do have some scratches that can not be sanded out because the veneer is too thin but I was not able to hear any of them. Last pair sold on ebay for $650. The asking price reflects the cosmetic issues.
