Has anyone heard both of these amps and if so your view?
The bryston 4b3 or the pass labs x 350.8. Also which is the better performer?

Apples and apples would be the bryston 14b3, not the 4b3

The Pass is like a beautiful wife that anticipates your every need, makes the best coffee and knows that special spot to tickle at that precise moment while the Bryston is the sexy Dominican chick at work who rocks your world a while before you realize that's all she's got.

As so often happens here in the USAM forums, the OP asks for advice........and then disappears into the ether....never to be heard from again.

Why do they even bother? Unfortunately in today's society ultra-short attention spans seem to be the norm...

Pass Labs! I was a Mac guy for over 20 years and recently owned both the MC 601 as well as the 2301's, and my Pass XA160.8's are better in every way!

at that price I would hope you could listen for yourself.

As for my opinion, I go back to the days of Threshold so you know when my 'bias' lies ........ I own a pair of X260.8's, love 'em

Both are good but an Accuphase is sublime.

There is no doubt that Bryston is an awesome company. They have come a long way sonically in the past 30 years. That being said however, anything from the mind of Nelson Passs is in a league of its own. I was a Bryston guy for many years, when I first heard Threshold products,
I switched sides.

Not one poster indicated he or she had heard both units. So, worthless advice.

There's a lot of truth in that statement. There's an old saying in the audio hobby: If you haven't heard it then you don't have an opinion.

But I'll bet MrAudio has heard both of them. He asked the OP what kind of speakers he was using...since the OP never replied...the point is moot.

Calm down, guys. The poster was just asking for an opinion. We gave him a few different viewpoints. Of course the best way is to listen to both and compare and contrast. But that may not be possible,as some dealers will not carry both products.
You guys need to take a chill pill. After all, nobody cares about this stuff but us.
